Hyderabad: International Business Machines Corporation, or IBM, announced on Monday that it has opened a new facility in Hyderabad that will provide clients with Business Process Operations consultancy from IBM Consulting. According to IBM, the new centre will focus on Business Process Operations across various domains, including finance and accounting, procurement and supply chain, human resources and recruiting, and industry-specific processes such as risk and compliance. IBM Consulting will use this facility to help customers accomplish their digital transformation goals by utilising talent and IBM's extensive capabilities in process re-engineering, analytics, and technology, according to the company.

The IBM Garage, a collaborative approach to fast-tracking innovation and driving meaningful, long-term transformation, will have dedicated workspaces in the new facility. According to the statement, the facility also provides resiliency for IBM Consulting by operating as a backup location for IBM Consulting's Business Process Operations centres in Chennai and Bengaluru. The onsite team will also engage with IBM India Software Labs in Hyderabad to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and platform solutions to reinvent intelligent workflows in client operations, according to the company.

Agile approaches, enhanced process mining, and intelligent workflows powered by hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence are used by Business Process Operations to provide a unified user experience and business value for organisations.
