Surprisingly, no Indian player is in the top-5 rankings of batsmen, bowlers or all-rounders. In batting, opener KL Rahul has dropped one place to sixth, while Virat Kohli remains eighth. No Indian is even in the top-10 in the bowling and all-rounder rankings. Kiwi batsman Devon Conway scored 46 runs in the semi-final match against England in Abu Dhabi, taking him to fourth with a three-notch jump. Mitchell Marsh, who made Australia champions with an unbeaten 77 off 50 balls in the final match against New Zealand, has jumped sharply in his rankings.
Marsh has now moved up six places in the batting rankings to joint-13th. David Warner, the player of the tournament, has moved up eight places to 33rd position in the semi-finals with 49 runs against Pak and 53 in the final. Spinner Adam Zampa has moved up two numbers to third in the bowlers' rankings. Now wrist spinners Adil Rashid and Rashid Khan have slipped to number four and fifth respectively. Jampa had recorded figures of 1/26 in the final match against New Zealand and 1/22 in the semi-finals. Jampa was the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 13 wickets. Sri Lanka's Vanindu Hasaranga is at the top of the bowling.
