New Delhi: Congress leader P Chidambaram has reacted to the absence of a picture of Jawaharlal Nehru in the first digital poster released to commemorate India's 75th Independence Day. Yes, he condemned the Indian Council of Historical Research today, Sunday, and tweeted, "The explanation on this is ridiculous. He also accused the Member Secretary of ICHR of succumbing to hatred and prejudice and asked him if he would leave Henry Ford celebrating the birth of a motor car or forget the Wright brothers while celebrating the birth of aviation.'' The motor car was first invented by Ford and the Wright brothers were credited with building and flying the world's first aircraft.

He also said, "After succumbing to hatred and prejudice, it is better for the Member Secretary to keep his mouth shut.'' With this, Chidambaram has tweeted a series of tweets.
In a tweet, he wrote, 'If they were celebrating the invention of the motor car, would they remove Henry Ford? If they were celebrating the birth of aviation, would they have left the Wright brothers? If they had been celebrating Indian science, would they have removed CV Raman?' Let us tell you that the controversy has started over the ICHR not putting Nehru's picture in the poster of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' ceremony, and for this, the opposition parties have criticized the government and termed it as 'frivolous and unscrupulous.'
