New Delhi: A scientific kit from Assam has been developed to test if anyone is suffering from the omicron variant of coronavirus. It is said to be the kit through which omicron infection can be detected in just 2 hours. The kit is said to be completely made in India. Hydrolysis RT-PCR system is adopted for testing in this kit. You all must be aware that as soon as the global epidemic corona wreaks havoc, the fear of its new variant Omicron is beginning to be seen among the people. Doctors, on the other hand, believe that the omicron variant is stronger than corona and spreads rapidly.

There are also reports that it takes three to four days to check the disease. It is then revealed whether the person is infected with omicron. However, Dibrugarh ICMR-RMRC (Regional Medical Research Centre) in Assam has now developed a testing kit that will be able to report the presence of omicron variants in just two hours. In fact, the doctor here is Vishwa Borkotoki who has developed this kit. A team from Dr. Borkotoki and the Regional Medical Research Centre of ICMR has developed a real-time RT-PCR test kit. The test kit is said to save time and is essential for airports.

Let us tell you that this kit has gained 100% accuracy during testing in the lab. The results are being tested at the National Virology Institute in Pune and the results will be made public soon.
