As Jio is sweeping away the market from every other telecom company in India, another telecom giant, Idea is planning to get a lead. While fighting their way back to the market, Idea telecom, the venture from Aditya Birla Group has come up with an idea to launch   Idea Games, Idea Videos, Idea Music and Idea Chat in January-March 2017 period. It has plans to launch Idea TV, Idea News and Magazines and Idea Storage next financial year. Its competitor Jio is already offering a range of services.

While Airtel also has on demand music and video services such as “Wynk” applications.

Idea said they have palns to become the pan-Indai service provider for 3G and 4G spectrums. In Present idea has 13 circles in 3g spectrum and 4g services have 11 circles.

The company said its present high speed data network covers 400 million Indians and plans to reach 500 million by March 2017.
