Yemen: According to a military official, the Houthi militia launched missile strikes on internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in Yemen's northern province of Marib, injuring 12 people.

"The Houthis fired missiles at random that landed on the Al-Hamah IDP camp in the southern portion of the government-controlled city of Marib," the source quoted.

According to the source, the Houthi shelling gravely injured 12 displaced individuals, the majority of them were women and children. Meanwhile, the Executive Unit for the Management of IDP Camps in Marib issued a press statement claiming that the Houthi militia fired two ballistic missiles at the camp. The Houthis have lately resumed their ferocious military offensive against Marib.

According to official government figures, the Houthi military escalation against the southern regions of Marib has resulted in roughly 96,328 displaced individuals since the beginning of September.
