Satyapal Malik was invited to speak at the Global Jat Summit recently. "You cannot defeat sikhs," he said in the meanwhile. You won't be able to defeat these Jats either. 'It is your mistake if you believe the farmer protestors would return automatically,' he had threatened. Give them something (accept their requests) and send them on their way. But don't try to do two things at once. Don't use force on them right away. Second, do not send them home empty-handed, for they (Sikhs) do not forget quickly, even after 300 years.'
Indira Gandhi was also aware of her destiny following Operation Bluestar, according to Malik. Indira conducted the 'Maha Mrityunjaya Yagna' at her farmhouse after the Akal Takht was demolished. Arun Nehru, a close friend of mine, informed me about the situation. If you don't believe it, why are you doing all this? he had said Indira Gandhi. Indira Gandhi had warned Arun Nehru that people who broke the Akal Takht do not forget even after 600 years. They're going to murder me, I'm sure. Malik adds that Indira Gandhi had already realised the danger that Sikhs would kill her and that is what happened. Satyapal Malik went on to say, "General Vaidya was killed by sikhs in Pune, General Dyer was killed in London. I also told them not to test their patience. '
