Raipur: The opposition has now started targeting the central government over the shortage of coal in India. In the same vein, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has raised questions about it. In view of the power crisis, many trains have been suspended to supply coal, over which Chief Minister Baghel has surrounded the government.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that if there is no shortage of coal, then why were the passenger train services stopped? 23 goods trains have been cancelled from Chhattisgarh, then six trains were run after discussion with the Railway Minister.

Recently, CM Bhupesh Baghel had said that PM Narendra Modi should not mislead the country about the rising prices of petrol and diesel. He demanded that the Centre should abolish the cess on petroleum products. CM Baghel, while talking to reporters in the assembly premises on Thursday, said that BJP-ruled states should first reduce VAT on fuel. Baghel said, "The states are being blamed for the rising prices. Why are you increasing the rates day by day? Petrol prices have been hiked by Rs 10 in 12 days. The PM should not mislead the country.
