Ingredients for Stuffed Tomatoes
Tomato - 10
Potatoes boiled - 2
Paneer - 100 grams
Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Green chili chopped - 1
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Ginger grated - 2 tsp
Cashew nuts chopped - 8-10
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Green coriander chopped - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Method of making Bharwa Tomato- To make this vegetable, first take tomatoes and wash them, cut off the upper part with the help of a knife. After this, take out the pulp inside the tomato with the help of a knife. Now keep the pulp and upper part aside in a bowl. Now take boiled potatoes and peel them and mash them well in a bowl. After this, grate the cheese and put it in the potatoes. After that mix both of them well. Now add red chili, garam masala, cashew nuts, raisins, salt as per taste and green coriander in the mixture and mix it all well.
After this take a wok and put 1 tbsp oil in it and keep it on low flame for heating. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds to it. When cumin seeds start crackling, add chopped green chilies, grated ginger and tomato pulp and stir with the help of a ladle. When the tomato pulp starts thickening, add potato and paneer mixture and fry for some time. After this, fill the potato, cheese mixture in the chopped tomatoes and close it with the cut top part of the tomatoes. After this, take a heavy bottomed pan and put some oil in it and keep the tomatoes in it to cook.
Put a little salt and a teaspoon of oil on the tomatoes, cover them with a plate and let it cook on low flame. You have to cook the tomatoes till they become soft. However, during this time, by removing the plate, let's see the condition of the tomatoes. After sometime your Tasty Bharwa Tomatoes are ready.
