Kolkata: TMC chief and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee addressed the people while congratulating Eid. On this occasion, she said that we do not want riots or confrontation. We want peace. We do not want to divide the country. I will die, but I will not allow the partition of the country. But some people take money from the BJP and say that we will break the Muslim vote, but this is not possible. This cannot be.

Addressing the programme, Mamta said that I am ready to fight the money force and central agencies, but I will not bow my head. She said that within a year, elections would be held to decide who would come to power in our country. Let us promise that we will unite and fight against divisive forces. We should ensure that we all vote for her in the next election. If we fail to protect democracy, everything will end. Today, the constitution is being changed, and history is being changed. Regarding the issue of NRC, Mamta said that they want to implement it, but I will not let it happen. Without naming anyone, Mamta said that a leader is one who takes care of everyone by going against the divisive. But they are troubling us a lot. I pray to Allah that their bullying and jumlas stop. Mamta did not stop here. She said that Thok do, Thok do... Hey, what do you do? If we unite, your chair will fall.

Because of this, Mamta said about the Bilkis Bano issue that everyone has been released in this case, but we will not tolerate this. We will fight, and we will win. Leaders should always maintain unity. I pray to Allah to give us strength. If we remain united, I am sure they will be thrown out of power. The Chief Minister of West Bengal said that I go everywhere in Bengal. I would say that you all enjoy Eid. Celebrate happiness. Eid Mubarak to all of you. There is no need to be afraid. Because no anti-social element can spoil anything. We will build the country, and together we will build the world. She appealed and said that you people should not worry. We are there for your safety. We do not riot and clash. We want peace.
