In Bollywood for a very long time, we have seen heroes like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar taking over the command in the series of Spy and Super Secret Agent in Hindi cinema, in such a way, seeing a capable actress like Kangana Ranaut as the leading lady in the high-octane action-studded spy movie 'Dhaakad' has undoubtedly got to see a big change. Since the trailer launch of the movie, seeing the smoky action of Tarantino style, the expectations of the audience about this movie of Kangana had increased even more. There is no doubt that in the case of action, this movie takes the beating, but in the case of emotion, it has been proved weak. There is another challenge for the movie, with this, the release of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' which is a horror-comedy, which can be seen by the audience of every class, but Kangana's Dhaakad has been given an 'A' certificate, then it will be able to be seen by the audience above the age of 18 years.
Review: Director Rajneesh Raazi Ghai's movie has come out with Hollywood style action sequences and amazing visuals. The technical side of the movie is strong, the black and white and grey appearance of the camerawork (cameraman Tatsuo Nagata) is different, but the directors have proved to be weak in terms of the story. Be it the revenge emotion of the death of parents or the issue of the motherly of innocents, somewhere the narrative script has got to see you less in connecting emotionally. The movie's screenplay could have been better. This movie with a duration of 2 hours 10 minutes without any love angle starts to look long despite the speed of action. Talking about music, apart from Badshah's 'She Is On Fire', other songs are disappointing. The climax of the movie proves to be predictable.
This movie is entirely Kangana's movie, who spoke the dialogue 'Jism se rooh alag karna business hai mera', is really seen as good-looking in the case of acting as agent Agni. Her agility, expression and look in high octane action are making everyone go crazy. Even in hand-to-hand combat, they don't prove to be nineteen from anywhere. In her role, she has also put in a dash of glamour. Arjun Rampal's villainous style as Rudraveer is strong. He has attempted to make it different through his look and lullaby. The cruelty that Divya Dutta has introduced as Rohini proves her being an able actress once more. Sharib Hashmi, who was seen on screen after a long time, has done justice to his small role, but he should have been given a little more screen space. Shaswat Chatterjee, famous as Bob Biswas, has once again succeeded in shocking.
