Tata Motors is looking for any other option other than the Nano for low-priced small cars. According to Satish Borovankar, Chief Operating Officer of Tata Motors, the company is now considering the production of small electric cars rather than the Nano. 

With this, Borovankar cleared it because of an emotional association with Nano, its production will not be completely closed. 


Initially, Tata Nano plant was planted in Singur, West Bengal, after which it was transferred to Sanand in Gujarat. According to the data, low-priced Tata Nano still remains the preferred choice of people, it's nearly 1000 units are sold every month.

About Commercial Vehicles, Borovankar says, their demand in the market is constantly increasing. Tata Motors will soon come in the compact SUV vehicle market being manufactured in its Pune plant. It is expected that before Diwali, this market will be launched.

With this, the company's COO told that the production of the commercial vehicle in the commercial vehicle with a 75% increase in the production of a personal vehicle is going on in the crop.
