In the evening, these directions in view of the possibility of accidents due to slippery fog on National Highway-05 between Chhabra to Fagu. For this, announcements are being made by informing the tourists by putting a microphone in the patrolling vehicle of the police station. Not only this, the tourists can be urged to return to Shimla even in the event of snowfall when the weather is bad.
This instruction is for those tourists who stay in the hotels of Shimla city and have gone to Kufri to visit. Due to frequent snowfall in Chhabra, Kufri, and Fagu, the road has become slippery. When the cold rises in the morning and evening, the snow freezes like glass in the road. Tourists coming from outside areas do not experience driving on snow, due to which tourists get stuck here after traffic skid and traffic gets jammed. NH-05 connects the entire Upper Shimla with the capital. Later in the afternoon, the patrolling vehicle starts movement on the Kufri and ChiniBangla road from Dhali. SP Shimla Omapati Jamwal said that this arrangement has been made for the safety of the tourists and to get rid of the traffic jam. Due to the formation of slippery fog on the road, the risk of skidding of the vehicles increases. HRTC Shimla Divisional Manager Raghuveer Singh Thakur has issued orders to all depots to send drivers on snowfall affected routes who have experience of driving on snow. After seeing the situation of the road on the spot, instructions have also been given to drive on the route. It is being told that the bus skid near Karsog depot near the outpost was removed at around 11 pm on Sunday.
