The Delhi Metro has also changed the entry and exit times at some stations in view of the Republic Day celebrations. Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure that there is no obstruction in the parade. The parade will reach the Red Fort Ground via Vijay Chowk, Rajpath, India Gate, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, Red Fort Chowk. For this, Rajpath from Patel Chowk to India Gate was closed for vehicles on 25 January 2020 at 6 pm. This ban will continue till the end of Republic Day celebrations on 26 January. At the same time, cross traffic on Rajpath was closed from 11 am on January 25 and India Gate Circle was closed at 2 pm. Traffic will remain closed on Tilak Marg from 10 am on January 26 until the parade passes.

Apart from this, due to the timing of the parade, there may be a crossing of vehicles from ITO and Delhi Gate. The traffic police advised people not to come to New Delhi and Central Delhi from 2 pm on 25 January to 12 noon on 26 January.

These four metro stations will remain closed: For your information, let us tell you that in view of the security arrangements for the Republic Day parade, entry and exit at the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan station of the Metro on January 25 from one o'clock to 12.30 the next day There will be a restriction. There will be a ban on entry and exit at Patel Chowk and Race Course Road metro station from 8.45 am to 12.30 pm on 26 January. However, people will get the facility of interchange at the Central Secretariat.
