Two Rohingya Muslim women died in a shootout between Myanmar's army and rebels, while seven others were seriously injured. This incident happened a few days after the order of the International Court of Justice in which it asked Myanmar to take all measures to stop the genocide of Rohingya Muslims. Let us tell you that in the beginning of this month, four Rohingya children were killed in an explosion.

According to the information received, military spokesman Joo Min Tun told that one woman died on the spot, while the other died after reaching the hospital in northern Rakhine province. The army blamed the Arakan army for these deaths.

Several attacks were carried out in 2017: It has been learned that the Arakan Army has accused the army of lying and said that in the area where this incident has taken place, there is no fight with the army. For your information, let us tell you that in August 2017, the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) carried out several attacks targeting police and military posts in Rakhine. After this, Myanmar's army had taken major action in the province. According to a UN report, ten thousand people were killed in this action and over seven lakh Rohingya Muslims had to flee and take refuge in neighbouring Bangladesh.
