PC Ramachandran, a 65-year-old Indian living in Dubai city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a developed country of the world, has collected postage stamps worth $ 27,225 (about Rs 19 lakh). Apart from postage stamps, Ramachandran, who is fond of collecting currencies and other old items from many countries, is also known as the preferred collector of the Emirates Philatelic Association.

Ramachandran, who grew up in India, was fond of collecting colorful postage stamps since school days. In childhood, he began to collect postage stamps from the letters that came from relatives living abroad. He has almost all types of postage stamps deposited in India since 1947.
