IFFI 2017 Closing ceremony honored veteran Actor Amitabh Bachchan with the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award, the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is held in Goa's Panaji on November 28. Information and Broadcast Minister Smriti Irani and the only Khiladi of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar presented the award to Big B Amitabh Bachchan, the veteran 75th -years-old actor, along with a certificate, silver peacock and a cash prize worth 10 lakh Indian currency. 
The emotional word of Amitabh Bachchan "I don't have words to define my gratitude. Thank you appears to be an understatement. However, I would like to express my gratitude for whatever you heard and said through this program. Thank you, Akshay. Also, honorable Governor of Goa Mridula Sinha, honorable I & B Minister Smriti Irani, honorable Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar and distinguished guests - ladies and gentlemen, and the wonderful, happy and welcoming guests of Goa, thank you so much,"
