Now Himalaya Institute of Biological Property Technology (IHBT) Palampur and Tanda Medical College (TMC) can work together to alleviate knee pain. There is an agreement to search for pain medicine in both the institutes, while there will be a mixture of herbs and allopathic medicines and there will be no side effects of this medicine. The agreement has been signed between Dr. Bhanu Awasthi, Principal of Tanda Medical College and Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director of IHBT.

IHBT has earlier signed an agreement on Ayurveda, but this will be the first agreement on a medicine project from a medical college, and work will be done on preparing other medicines after devising the medicines for knee pain. Though there is agreement on making allopathic medicine, but according to sources, allopathic medicines prepared in IACBT may contain a mixture of Ayurvedic herbs.

It is being told that the project can start within a month. There is an agreement between IHBT and Tanda Medical College will work on the medicines project which will start within a month. There may be better production of medicines in the coming days.
