A lot of buzz can be seen in the second phase of the budget session to begin on Monday. During this time, Congress will vigorously raise the issue of communal riots in Delhi. Sources said that the Congress is likely to submit an adjournment motion in both houses of Parliament on Monday, seeking a debate on violence in Delhi.

He said that the government has failed miserably in maintaining law and order. He told the media that I think there should be some kind of nexus between the rioters and a group of police officers, resulting in horrific murders and arson which has tarnished our image around the world. This is a matter of serious concern for us.

In his statement further, Chaudhary said that we will continue to demand the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah in the House. The manner of protest inside or outside Parliament is a matter of coordinated strategy and not a public issue. But the nation is assured that we will discharge our responsibilities strictly and without fear despite excessive and illegal intrusion and harassment. A Congress delegation including party chief Sonia Gandhi on Thursday urged President Ram Nath Kovind To resign from Home Minister Shah during communal violence and remind Center of "Raj Dharma". The Congress Working Committee (CWC) also discussed the issue last week and passed a resolution seeking answers from both the Center and Delhi governments. While the people of Delhi were also requested to reject the politics of hate.
