Chandigarh: Keeping in mind the ever increasing incidents, the work of road, railroad and flyover in Haryana is set to speed up in the coming financial year. At the same time, PWD plans to complete the new bypass in 14 cities and under construction of 2 cities in the next year. There are plans to build new bypasses at Sonipat, Tohana, Kosli, Hathin, Punhana, Pinangwa, Chuchkwas, Bahadurgarh, Gohana and Uchana. While the work going on bypass of Pinjore and Bhiwani will be completed this year.

According to the information received, it is also being considered that apart from these, the Central Government has been requested for construction of bypass in Karnal, Kurukshetra, Jind and Narwana, so that these can be constructed by the National Highway Authority. Where Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that in an important announcement, the state government has decided in this year's budget to eliminate railway crossings on all the national highways, state highways and main district roads of the state.

According to sources, a special program will be run to replace all these gates with a railway overbridge or underbridge. Regarding this, the Deputy Chief Minister said that at present, the work of constructing 40 overbridges or underbridges on railway lines in the state is going on, which is a revolutionary step. Dushyant Chautala reminded that before 2014 there were only 64 railway overbridges or underbridges in the state.
