Amit Shah to Unveil BJP’s J&K Election Manifesto and Launch Campaign

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to release the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) manifesto for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections on September 6. During his visit, he will also address rallies in Jammu to kick off the party’s election campaign.

The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections will take place in three phases: September 18, September 25, and October 1. The counting of votes is set for October 8.

According to a senior BJP leader, Amit Shah will arrive in Jammu on September 6 to unveil the manifesto at a designated media war room in a local hotel. His visit is expected to span two days, during which he will participate in public rallies. The specific locations for these rallies are still being finalized.

There are indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may also visit Jammu to address a public rally in one of the key hill districts. Preparations for this potential visit are currently underway.

This follows the resignation of K. Keshava Rao from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, who joined the Congress. Earlier this year, Singhvi had lost a Rajya Sabha seat from Congress-ruled Himachal Pradesh.
