Transforming Haryana: Eradicating Corruption, Championing Merit, and More

Over the past decade, Haryana has undergone a remarkable transformation under the leadership of the BJP government, which took office with the motto "Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek." The government's mission was clear: to establish "good governance through systemic change." This vision has been realized through a robust and transparent governance structure.

One of the most significant achievements of the BJP's two terms in Haryana has been the elimination of the notorious "Perchi-Kharchi system," a corrupt practice that once plagued the state. The eradication of this system has not only restored trust among the people but has also significantly enhanced the reputation of Haryanvis.

Today, families across Haryana, regardless of their location or background, believe that merit is the only criterion for school admissions and government jobs. The influence of recommendations and bribes in these processes has been completely removed, creating a level playing field for all.

The Haryana government has firmly adhered to its principle of "no expense, no slip," a policy that has particularly benefited the most disadvantaged sections of society. Young people from underprivileged and marginalized families now have a fair chance to achieve their dreams of securing government jobs.

In the past, government jobs in Haryana were often reserved for those with connections to influential leaders and officials. The interview process was merely a formality, with the outcomes already determined behind closed doors.

The previous "Kharchi-Perchi" system, infamous for issuing recruitment lists from leaders' offices, left deserving candidates in despair. This corrupt practice made it nearly impossible for those from poor families to secure government jobs. However, the current recruitment system is transparent, issuing lists without the shadow of corruption, bringing hope and joy to countless households.

Today, children of laborers and rickshaw drivers are successfully securing government jobs. There are numerous stories of how a laborer's daughter or a farmer's son achieved these positions based solely on merit. This shift has filled the hearts of ordinary people in Haryana with pride.

Mission Merit: A Transparent Recruitment System

A decade ago, the BJP launched "Mission Merit," a program designed to bring transparency to the government job recruitment process. This initiative has become a model for other states to follow. A notable example comes from Risalia Kheda village in the Sirsa district, where 35 young individuals secured government jobs, reflecting the government's clear intentions and honest policies.

The people of Haryana fondly remember a time when newspapers would list the names of leaders' relatives who had secured government jobs. Today, the media celebrates stories of how children from humble backgrounds have achieved these positions through their hard work and merit.

The transformation that Haryana has witnessed over the past decade under the BJP's governance is nothing short of significant. The eradication of corrupt practices like the "Perchi-Kharchi system" has restored faith in the state's governance. The focus on merit has opened doors for many disadvantaged families, ensuring a fair and just system for all.
