The India International Film Festival (IIFFB) 2020 awards have been announced. It has happened in Boston, America but due to Coronavirus, this time it was organized virtually. According to the information received, more than 110 films of 15 languages were screened in this film festival. The biggest thing is that Hindi cinema veteran Om Puri has also received the Life Time Achievement Award.
This is a matter of pride for all of us. Om Puri is no longer among us, but still getting this award is a big deal. He passed away in the year 2016 itself. He worked a lot in his film career and gave many hit film. Om Puri was said to be an actor who can play any kind of character. He used to do everything from comedy scenes to emotional scenes in the best way.
He was born in a Punjabi family and in addition to his acting, he also faced controversies with his statements. Once, Om Puri had said while targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, "See now we don't have a choice, except we have seen the other goddesses sitting in Modiji's dock." Due to this statement, he had been in controversies for a long time.
