Chennai: The body of a student pursuing PhD from IIT Madras has been found hanging. According to media reports, the student had written a message on WhatsApp status, which his friends were stunned to see. By the time friends reached him, the student had died. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took information about the incident. Police have seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police have started investigating the message written by the student.

According to the report, 32-year-old Sachin Kumar Jain was doing PhD at IIT Madras. Sachin was a resident of West Bengal. Sachin returned from the IIT campus on Friday (March 31). It is being told that Sachin had written a message 'I am sorry, not good enough' as a status on WhatsApp. When Sachin's friends saw this message, they were stunned. The friends immediately reaches Sachin's house. When they reached Sachin's house, they saw that Sachin was hanging in the dining hall. Friends immediately removed Sachin from the trap and called an ambulance and took him to the hospital, but the emergency team declared him dead.

After which the incident was reported to the Velachery police. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. The police have started investigation of this matter.
