New Delhi: Protest are now erupting in his own organization against Professor John Rose Austin Jayal, president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). A doctor from IMA has demanded his resignation. Dr Jitendra Nagar said that he (Jitendra) also takes pride in 'Evidence Based' Allopathy and also respects the great Vedic heritage of our ancestors, Ayurveda.

Expressing his concern, Dr. Jitendra Nagar said that 'The Chief Of the IMA, Christian, is engaged in propagating the bitter agenda of conversion, so he should resign from his post unless he comes out of the house. He has written a letter to IMA warning the president of the organisation about the allegations levelled on social media'. He said that Dr. JA Jayalal is working to preach and propagate the Christian Missionary Agenda. Dr. Jitendra Nagar wrote in the letter, "How can a person sit at the top of an institution like IMA and promote the bitter agenda of Christian conversion? Such allegations have tarnished the secular and sovereign image of the IMA, creating a sense of concern. I request the national officials of the IMA to set up a committee to look into the allegations against Dr. John Rose Austin'.

He demanded that Dr. JA Jayal should step down as IMA Chief unless the investigation into the allegations proved to be completely clear. Dr Jitendra Nagar, a resident of Deesa in Banaskantha, Gujarat, is also a member of the IMA. He had written the letter on Thursday which was shared on social media after 5 days. He is also the head of the 'Diabetes School' institute.
