Dehradun: People's outrage on social sites has erupted against Yoga guru Ramdev, who made controversial remarks on the use of allopathic medicines and the famine deaths of doctors during the crisis of the corona epidemic. Ramdev has also openly challenged the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and pharma companies, which has led to the Indian Medical Association demanding strict action against Ramdev. The Indian Medical Association has written to the Uttarakhand government for the same.

A letter from Uttaranchal branch of IMA objected to Ramdev's statements against the allopathic medical profession and doctors. The letter said ramdev mocked the doctors for defying their duty in this time of corona crisis. Strict action should be taken against Ramdev for what he has done. The letter has been written directly to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat.

Ramdev has also challenged allopathy by issuing an open letter to the Indian Medical Association (IMA). Ramdev has asked 25 questions in an open letter to the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and pharma companies. Referring to many diseases, Baba Ramdev has questioned whether allopathy has found permanent treatment for these diseases in the last 200 years. The controversy over Baba Ramdev's tweet has escalated.
