New Delhi: Heavy rainfall is raining in many parts of the country due to the monsoon. According to met department, heavy rain is expected in many parts of the country during the next 24 hours. Several States including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal are likely to receive heavy rainfall. Light to moderate rain has been predicted in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

According to IMD, Punjab is likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next 48-72 hours. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in many parts of Rajasthan today. The Met department said that it is expected to make good space in the next 24 hours and gradually move westwards in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar during the next 48 hours. In Rajasthan, light to moderate rain is likely to occur in the rest of Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Vidarbha today.

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain and heavy rain may occur over some parts of Gangiya West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand, South Bihar, some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Konkan and Goa during the next 24 hours.
