Islamabad: Corona's outbreak is overshadowing Pakistan's economy. Pakistan had sought assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to deal with this. Now IMF is considering giving a loan of $ 1.4 billion to Pakistan. A decision will be taken about this week. PAK PM Imran Khan has urged the world to help a developing country like Pakistan to deal with the outbreak of Coronavirus.

It is noteworthy that in Pakistan, the number of corona infected patients has increased to more than 5,370 and 92 people have died from corona there. There is economic slowdown in Pakistan due to the Corona crisis and there is a huge cash shortage. Because of this, the IMF will consider giving a loan of $ 1.4 billion to Pakistan. This loan will be in addition to the $ 6 billion relief package that is to be given to Pakistan under the agreement before the IMF.

Let us tell you that last year when the balance of payments crisis occurred due to the huge foreign exchange shortage in Pakistan, Pakistan signed an agreement with the IMF, under which it has to get a relief package of $ 6 billion.
