All salaried classes have the necessary information. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation has suggested to its subscribers that they must make e-nominations. This gives social security to the family of the account holder. EPFO has been constantly tweeting about how subscribers can file e-nominations for EPF/EPS. EPFO has introduced an e-enrolment facility to report the nominee. Individuals who are not enrolled are being given an opportunity.
Thereafter, information like the name, date of birth of the online nominee will be updated. EPFO has told its subscribers that the EPF account holder should e-nomination. By doing so, in case of death of account holders, the nominee/family members get a lot of help in withdrawing money related to PF, pension and insurance. This can also enable the nominee to claim online. EPFO members also get the facility of insurance cover under the Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme. The scheme makes an insurance cover payment of a maximum of Rs 7 lakh to the nominee. If a member dies without a nomination, the claim has difficulty processing. So let's know how to fill nominations online.
E-nomination in EPF/EPS can do so:-
1- First of all, the official portal of EPFO for EPF/EPS nomination https://www.epfindia.gov.in/ Go to
2- Now click on FOR EMPLOYEES in the Services section here and click on Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)
3- Now a new page will open and log in with UAN and password
4- Select E-Nomination under Manage Tab. Doing so will bring out the Provide Details tab on the screen, then click Save.
5- Now click Yes for Family Declaration, then click Add family details (here you can add more than one nominee.
6- Click Nomination Details for the total amount share here, then click Save EPF Nomination.
7- Now click E-sign to generate OTP here, now enter the OTP that comes to the linked registered phone number in Aadhaar.
8- As soon as you do this, you are registered with the e-nomination EPFO. You do not need to send a hard copy document after that.
