WASHINGTON: The U.S. Foreign Ministry has defended U.S. President Donald Trump's claim of mediation on the Kashmir issue. According to the External Affairs Ministry spokesperson, Kashmir is a bilateral matter between India and Pakistan. The Trump administration will welcome India to sit at the Pakistan dialogue table. The U.S. is fully prepared to assist. However, those who were raising the Imran Khan Kashmir issue with the US have been left to face the issue of terrorism.
