Patna: After the murder of the Mahant of a monastery in Sitamarhi, Bihar, there has been a stir in the area. The incident is from Parmanandpur under Dumra police station area, where Mahant Umesh Das of the Math was brutally murdered with a knife. According to the information, the murder was revealed when the villagers saw the body of Mahant Umesh Das of the Math located at Dulhan Pokhar in Parmanandpur in the morning.

In view of the matter related to the monastery and its sensitivity, in addition to the local police stations, the police of many police stations reached the spot. The police team led by DSP Ramakant Upadhyay immediately reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
