Chandigarh: Children in the age group of 15 to 18 years will not be allowed to enter schools without having corona vaccine in Haryana. Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij has said that whenever schools are opened back, only those children who have been vaccinated against corona will be allowed to enter the school.

He has appealed to parents to get their children vaccinated against corona and ensure that they are protected from the corona. In view of the increasing cases of the corona, the Khattar government in the state has ordered the closure of all schools and colleges till January 26. Education Minister Kanwar Pal had announced the government's order. However, online studies are going on during school holidays.

He had said that schools and colleges will conduct online studies focusing on upcoming examinations. The Education Minister had said that we cannot take any risk by calling the children to school now. Exams are to be held in the month of March. This time there will be a board exam of class VIII, in view of that, teachers should get online education done with full dedication and also evaluate the children. The holidays can be extended if the cases of corona increase further.
