Once again attack happened on the set of Padmavati. Early morning, angry mob put the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati on fire this time in Kolhapur.
Shobha Sant, CEO Bhansali Productions confirmed, "Yes, a few people entered and had put the set on fire in the early morning hours. There is no damage to life or properties as such. The main cast wasn't present at that time. However, our costumes are completely damaged."
She added, they have no idea who these people were and why the attacked.
In January, this year Karni Sena attacked the set, "We have learned that the filmmakers are portraying the film as a love story between Alauddin Khilji and Padmini, which is a blatant distortion of history. That is why we stopped the shooting and told the makers that we won’t let them continue unless they make changes," told by Narayan Divrala, district president, Karni Sena.
