Lucknow: A surprising case has come to light in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, where the son-in-law was brutally beaten up. He also suffered a lot of injuries due to excessive beating. Later, the man went to the police station and lodged a complaint against the in-laws. Police said that the matter is being investigated. At present, the injured person (son-in-law) is being medically examined. He has also been treated. The youth, a resident of the Chilla police station area, was married to a young woman, a resident of Kotwali Tindwari town, a few years ago. For the past few days, his wife was living in her parents' house. On Friday, the young man reached his in-laws' house to take his wife back.

The young man was accompanied by his mother and some people. The young man came to his in-laws' house and told his mother-in-law that I have come to take back my wife. To this, the mother-in-law (wife's mother) replied why have you come here to show your face, I will not send my daughter with you. Hearing this, the young man got angry. He told his mother-in-law that I was married to your daughter. Why wouldn't you send her with me? On seeing this, the altercation between the young man and the in-laws turned into a scuffle.

At the behest of the mother-in-law, the young man's two brothers-in-law started beating him. At the same time, other people from the in-laws' side also assaulted the young man so much that his condition became serious. The youth lodged a complaint with the police. SHO Kotwali Nagar Shyam Babu Shukla told the media that a case of assault has been registered. The police have started investigating. Further action will be taken on the basis of whatever truth comes out.
