Ujjain: The year began today at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain and people visited Baba Mahakal fiercely. During this time many devotees from far-flung areas of the country arrived and everyone visited. Darshan started here from around six o'clock in the morning and the temple administration has also made special arrangements for darshan. If the temple management committee is to be believed, from 6 am to 8 pm, around eight thousand people visited Baba Mahakal after Bhasmarti. It is being told that more crowds were seen at the Prasad counter in the temple courtyard and after the darshan, people bought the Besan ladoos found in the temple as Prasad.

At the same time, many people were also seen taking selfies with the family. During this time, the temple courtyard continued to resonate with Baba Mahakal's Jayghosh. Baba Mahakal's priests did a special anointing with Panchamrit to get rid of the corona epidemic. During this, he was offered fifty-six bhoga. During this period, priests also performed Mahapujans. Apart from this, Vineet Giri, under the supervision of Mahanirwani Akhara, did the ranting.

It is being told that Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari visited Baba Mahakal with the family on Friday morning. In fact, the temple administration gave him entry through the sluice gate and saw him from the porch of the sanctum sanctorum. According to the news, crowds of ardent devotees were seen at the Darshan counter soon to get the darshan of Baba Mahakal and devotees were given entry from VIP gate after deducting a receipt of Rs 250 from here.
