China raises the issue of banning 59 Chinese app in India-China meeting

New Delhi: Since the incident in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh, there is tension between India and China. Due to this tension, the Indian government had recently banned 59 Chinese apps. After the Chinese app was banned, China has become completely engulfed. China had also raised the issue of banning Chinese app in the meeting held between the two countries. In response to which the Government of India in its statement made it clear that this app, which has been banned, has been imposed only for the internal defense of the country.

In a report, government sources said that during a meeting between the two countries at the diplomatic level, the Chinese side raised the issue of banning their mobile applications in India. Sources further said that the Indian side has clearly told China that the action has been taken in view of India's security issues and does not want any kind of tampering with the data related to the citizens of India.

India has recently banned 59 Chinese mobile apps, including widely used social media platforms such as Tik Tok, WeChat, Helo and UC Browser, etc. for the sovereignty and defense of the country. In the order of 29 June, the Indian government had banned most of the apps after information received from intelligence agencies that Chinese companies were collecting data through these apps and sending them out as well. On receiving this information, it was decided immediately by the Government of India.
