Lucknow: Russia has declared war against Ukraine, after which the developments on the border of both the countries are changing very rapidly. Russia has started military action in Ukraine. Due to this, the business of about 250 crores of Ghaziabad has been stuck. The entrepreneurs of the district are also worried due to the situation of war between the two countries. They fear that if the tension between the two countries continues like this for several months, it will have a bad effect on the industries of the district.

However, right now entrepreneurs claim that in the last 10 to 15 days, 60 percent of the business from these two countries has been affected. Let us inform that there are more than 30 thousand small and big industrial units of micro, small and medium industries (MSMEs) in the industrial city of Ghaziabad. At the same time, the biggest iron market of western Uttar Pradesh is located in the Bulandshahr industrial area. There are also a large number of iron merchants here.

Out of these, more than 90 units are such which have direct or indirect business with Ukraine or Russia. Entrepreneurs say that the district has less number of units doing direct business from these two countries, but for the companies that deliver products to these countries, the units here make raw or finished goods. Because of this, the annual turnover of these units is 250 crores from these countries.
