Abhay Bhadoriya, a kid actor, reflects on his most challenging performance and his most recent encounter with Satish Kaushik.

The late actor and director Satish Kaushik was a co-star in the film The Last Show with actor Abhay Bhadoriya, who is currently appearing in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. The former makes their Bollywood debut with this project. Vivek Agnihotri makes his Bollywood debut with The Last Show. Abhay made his television debut in 2013 with India's Best Dramebaaz when he was just seven years old. Since then, he has appeared in such programs as Eklavya, Tenali Rama, and Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal. Additionally, he appeared in Vighnaharta Ganesha and Balveer Returns. He took the 12th board exams earlier this year, and the outcomes are still pending.

Abhay discussed it in a recent interview and shared, “I’m lucky to have enjoyed the opportunity to spend time under the guidance of Satish sir while shooting. I feel blessed to make my debut in Bollywood with this movie. I got to learn so many things about acting, facing the camera, and other important inputs that any actor needs to be aware of while shooting and for his growth. He was a very kind soul. We shot the film through the pandemic, which was such a stressful time. He used to care for us and make us laugh by cracking jokes. For him, everyone on the set was equal. It was an honor to work with him.”

Talking about the demise of Satish Kaushik, he said, “I couldn’t believe the news when I heard it and enquired about it. I was in tears when I got to know it was true. Satish ji was a gem of a person and would keep everyone around him happy. There was never a dull moment around him and such was his sense of humour. The loss is irreparable, and movie buffs will miss him forever. His work will be celebrated for time immemorial.”

The entertainment industry teaches us a lot, Abhay stated when discussing the time he had to wear a lot of makeup for his Vighnaharta TV role despite the fact that it was 45 degrees outside in the summer. Vighnaharta was wearing a somewhat bulky outfit, and the editing was also done on the scene. It would frequently get quite difficult; I would shoot in 42/45 degrees, and my hands would turn tan. It got exceedingly challenging because the feet were also without shoes. This was the most challenging mythical show I had ever performed.

Added he,  “Aarna (sister Aarna Bhadoriya) and I did Balveer Returns together and there would be times when we had slimy-muddy water being thrown on us continuously. We had to work for two days in that situation. It was a new experience - it was difficult but we had fun as well.”

Abhay has appeared in a number of programs, including Vighnaharta Ganesha, Tenali Rama, Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal, and Balveer Returns.
