Uttar Pradesh: Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party (SP), claimed on Thursday that the BJP, which has snatched jobs from young people, will be wiped out of Uttar Pradesh in next year's Assembly elections.

Speaking a public meeting after distributing laptops to meritorious students at the Durga Ji Inter College in his Parliamentary constituency Azamgarh, Yadav said, not only khadeda hobe, but the BJP will be wiped out because these people have wiped out your jobs," he added. "Azamgarh is a stronghold of socialist people, and something will happen this time that the BJP will not be able to detect."

The SP and the SBSP, both of which have a stronghold among Rajbhar voters in Poorvanchal, announced in Mau that they will fight the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections together, coining the slogan "khadeda hobe" (drive out), similar to the Trinamool Congress's "khela hobe" slogan (TMC).

"I gave laptops to the new generation during my government and saw their happiness," the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister told the students. "The children sitting here are all meritorious students who have scored good marks and done well in examinations," he said. He congratulated the students, saying, "The children sitting here are all meritorious students who have scored good marks and done well in examinations."
