Fatehabad: A young man was shot dead in the wee days between village Ramsara and Dhabaikalan. The deceased Ashok used to run a gym in Bhattukalan. He was going to Fatehabad with his father for some work. Police rushed to the spot and sent the body of the deceased to postmortem. The accused is absconding.

Informing the police, Maninder of village Dhabai Kalan said that Ashok was on his way to Fatehabad for some work with his father. As soon as he reached the village of Dhabai Kalan, Ashok received a phone call. During the conversation, Ashok was asked where he was. Ashok replied that he came out of Dhabi Kalan. The caller said there was something to stop. Ashok then parked the car on one side. It is alleged that Vijay Pal and Pushkar alias Khali of Ramsara village rode in the car. He told Ashok who has a contract in your village. When Ashok informed the contractor, he asked the contractor to call and talk to him.
