Yesterday there was a huge clash erupted near the West Bank city of Ramallah on. According to medical reports, an Israeli soldier shot and wounded a local journalist, and hundreds of protestors collapsed after breathing tear gas sprayed by the army.

Separately, violent battles erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces between the villages of Beita and Beit Dajan, located south and east of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Ahmad Jibril, the chairman of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society's Emergency and Ambulance Department, 15 protestors were shot and wounded by Israeli forces, including three who were struck in the head by rubber-coated metal gunfire in Beita.

During the skirmishes in Beit Dajan, he claimed, 12 additional Palestinians were shot and wounded by live bullets, while scores more breathed tear gas. Weekly protests against the development of Israeli colonies in Beita and Beit Dajan have resulted in skirmishes with Israeli forces.
