Recently the Office for National Statistics, Britain's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.9% in November 2021, surpassing its pre-Covid pandemic level in February 2020 for the first time by 0.7%.

Between October and November 2021, the output of services, production, and construction all grew.  It goes on to say that service and construction output are both up 1.3 percent from pre-pandemic levels, while manufacturing is down 2.6 percent.

In the three months leading up to November 2021, British GDP increased by 1.1 percent, owing to the excellent growth of the services sector. "The three greatest contributors to the services sector development were administrative and support service activities, human health and social work activities, and transportation and storage," according to the institution.

It went on to say that if no additional data changes occur, quarterly GDP for October to December 2021 will either match or exceed its pre-pandemic level in the fourth quarter of 2019, assuming the monthly December 2021 estimate does not decline by more than 0.2 percent.
