Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Indian Students in the US

Washington: Two Indian students lost their lives in a tragic accident in the US when a speeding vehicle collided with their car in Phoenix City, Arizona. The victims, identified as Mukka Nivesh and Goutham Parsi, both 19 years old and hailing from Telangana, were involved in the fatal crash on April 20.

According to Peoria Police, the third occupant and driver of the car sustained injuries but has since been discharged from the hospital. The collision involved two vehicles, a white 2024 Kia Forte and a red 2022 Ford F150, which collided head-on.

Initial investigations by Arizona police revealed that the driver of the red F150 was traveling southbound on Castle Hot Springs Road, while the white Kia Forte was traveling northbound. The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Nivesh, a resident of Huzurabad town in Karimnagar district, and Goutham, from Station Ghanpur in Jangaon district, were both pursuing computer science engineering at Arizona State University.

"Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all those who assisted during this tragic incident," stated the police.
