Ramgarh: The first trial run of the esteemed Vande Bharat Express took place between Patna and Ranchi in Jharkhand on Monday morning. The Indian Railways organized this trial run, which was initially scheduled for June 11 but was rescheduled due to a two-day state bandh organized by a student group.
Enthusiastic spectators gathered on the platform to witness the trial run of the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express as it made its way to Gaya Railway Station. Union Railways Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, had previously mentioned that Vande Bharat trains would cover all states by June. During a press conference held in the national capital, the Railway Minister stated that their goal is to connect 200 cities with the Vande Bharat train by the middle of next year. He further emphasized that production work is progressing rapidly.

The train is designed to provide passengers with an experience akin to air travel.
The inaugural journey of the Vande Bharat Express took place on February 15, 2019, along the New Delhi Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi route.
