Train schedule revisions on the Konkan Railway route will take effect from today

NEW DELHI: the Konkan Railway train timings on the network will be changed effective from from today, June 10, 2023. This new schedule will be in effect until October 31. In order to prevent any negative situations during intense rain, a monsoon timetable has been added to the route.

The railways have released the updated schedules for trains travelling the Konkan route from June 10 to October 31.

The updated train schedule for the Konkan route is provided below.

-Train No. 12620/12619: The Mangaluru Central-Mumbai LTT Matsyagandha Express departs at 12.45 p.m. instead of 2.20 p.m. According to a Southern Railway press release, its companion Train No. 12619 will arrive in Mangaluru Central at 10.10 a.m. rather than 7.40 a.m.

12133 Mumbai CSMT-Mangaluru Junction Train Fast: Instead of arriving at 1.05 pm, the will arrive at 3.40 pm in Mangaluru, and the 12.134 to Mumbai CSMT would depart from the city at 4.35 pm instead of 2 pm.

-Train No. 06602, a Daily Express Special from Mangaluru Central to Madgaon The departure time will remain the same, at 5.30 am, however Madgaon will now be reached at 1.15 pm rather than 1.10 pm. In place of arriving at Mangaluru Central at 9.05 p.m., Train No. 06601 will depart Madgaon at its regularly scheduled time of 1.50 p.m.

Thiruvananthapuram Central-Mumbai LTT Nethravathi Express train number 16346 left the state capital of Kerala at 9:15 a.m. as usual, but will depart stations along the way 30 minutes to an hour earlier. Instead of leaving Mangaluru Junction at 10.50 pm, it departs at 9.35 pm, arriving at LTT at 5.05 pm the next day. Train No. 16345 departs LTT at its regularly scheduled time of 11.40 am and travels to Mangaluru Junction the following morning at 5.45 am rather than 4.15 am and Thiruvananthapuram at 7.35 pm rather than 6.05 pm.

Some of the trains travelling via Werstern Railway will have their schedules amended during this time due to the installation of Konkan Railway's monsoon timetable. Timings for many trains, including the Kerala Sampark Kranti Express, the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto Express, the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Central Rajdhani Express, the Kochuveli Express, the Goa Sampark Kranti Express, and the Veraval-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express, among others.
