Incharge of Quarantine center dies after getting infected by Corona

The coronavirus epidemic has now taken the life of Dr. G. Naresh Kumar, who was in charge of Manuguru Corona Quarantine Center. He died due to Covid infection. Naresh Kumar hails from Bhadrachalam town and has been serving as a doctor for the last ten years. He worked as a Parnasala DDVO and oversaw the in-charge duties as the District Immunization Officer. Naresh Kumar is also the Deputy DMH of Bhadrachalam Area Hospital.

Dr. Naresh contracted the virus while on duty in charge of the Manuguru Quarantine Center. He was admitted to Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad for better treatment. But he lost his life as the situation worsened. Medical circles in Bhadradri district were shocked by the death of Deputy DMHO due to Corona. Dr. Naresh Kumar was among the one who used to deal duty along with proper management. He, along with DMHO, lashed out at hospitals running illegally in the town of Bhadrachalam.

The number of Covid cases in Bhadradri district is increasing rapidly. More than 500 corona cases have been reported in the district in the last two weeks alone. Former Kottagudem MLA Kunanneni Sambashivarao has recovered from a corona infection. Even many police personnel in the district are suffering from the infection.
