New Delhi: The Income Tax Department has carried out a major action yesterday i.e. on Friday. The department raided 40 places of spiritual master Kalki Bhagwan. Where black money worth over Rs 500 crore has been known. A group in Chennai has been raiding black money in the name of teaching religious discourse and how to live a better life. From there, authorities have detected black money worth more than Rs 500 crore. The group has invested in many countries in the world along with India.

According to the information received by the Income Tax Department here yesterday i.e. on Wednesday, the group has been raiding around 40 locations in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Varadipalem of the group since last Wednesday. The leader of this group is the religious leader and his son.

This group runs wellness courses in many places. Investigation revealed that the money collected by its employees in various ashrams was not accounted for in the book and it was invested elsewhere. Preliminary investigation has revealed that this fraudulent operation has been going on since 2014-15 and till date, about 409 crore rupees have been diverted.

The officials have also recovered cash worth Rs 43.9 crore from these locations. Apart from this, the Income Tax Department has also got the currency of many countries, whose value in Indian currency is equal to Rs 18 crores. Apart from this, about 88 kg of gold jewelry has also been found, which has been valued at Rs 26 crore. At the same time, 1271 carat diamonds have also been found, whose value is estimated to be around five crore rupees. Raid operations are in progress. Illegal property has also been discovered abroad.
