Kanpur: You must have often seen in films that the Income Tax Department or any other department of the administration conducts raids somewhere and a lot of wealth comes out of the house of the accused. But the whole story has actually been seen in UP. In fact, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the raids of IT in the house and offices of Piyush Jain, who made socialist perfume for SP president Akhilesh Yadav, have been bringing constant lying down. The Income Tax Department has received Rs 177 crore from Jain's place only in the form of cash. The scrutiny of CGST and Income Tax is still going on.

According to the report, the investigating agency has also found a cellar at Piyush Jain's house in Kannauj, from where 150 kg of silver and 25 kg of gold ingots have been recovered. Of these, the market price of silver is said to be around Rs.2 crore and that of gold is about Rs.12 crore. Apart from this, the investigative team has received cash of Rs 107 crore separately from here. In this way, the agencies have so far received an amount of Rs 284 crore from Piyush Jain.

9 sacks full of notes have been recovered from the basement built in Jain's house. This cash has not yet been counted. To count this, officials of banks and 7 note counting machines have been pressed into service. It is estimated that this cash can also be around Rs 50 crore. Along with this, secret lockers and cupboards have been found in Piyush Jain's house, which even the officials have been sweating to open. That's why now the team of architects has been called from Lucknow.
