Patna: So far 30 people have died due to spurious liquor in Bihar's Chhapra and the death toll is expected to increase. Another person died due to treatment at Chhapra Sadar Hospital around 11 pm on Wednesday night, while reports of loss of eyesight of many people are also coming to the fore.

In such a situation where the CM of Bihar got angry in the assembly regarding the issue of spurious liquor, now his minister Sameer Mahaseth has given an absurd statement regarding this. In fact, after reaching a sports event, when Sameer Mahaseth, a minister from the RJD quota in the Grand Alliance government, was asked about the death of people, he said, 'Increase power through sports - you will tolerate poisonous alcohol'. He did not stop here and further said, 'Liquor found in Bihar is poison and if you want to avoid drinking this poisonous liquor, then increase your immunity.' Let us tell you that earlier on the question asked about death due to spurious liquor, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav had attacked the BJP itself.

On the other hand, RJD MLA Rambali Chandravanshi made fun of the death due to spurious liquor. He said that people are dying due to alcohol, and they are also dying due to other diseases and accidents, dying or living is not a big deal. After the death due to poisonous liquor, there is chaos in Chhapra, still many people are fighting death in the hospital. Those who have died due to spurious liquor include Vijender Rai, Harendra Ram, Ramji Shah, Amit Ranjan, Sanjay Singh, Kunal Singh, Ajay Giri, Mukesh Sharma, Bharat Ram, Jaidev Singh, Manoj Ram, Mangal Rai, Nasir Hussain, Ramesh Ram, Chandrama Ram, Vicky Mahato, Govind Rai, Lalan Ram, Premchand Shah, Dinesh Thakur, Sitaram, Vishwakarma Patel, Jaiprakash Singh, Suren Shah, Jatan Shah, Suren Shah, Vikram Raj, Dashrath Mahto, and Kesar Mahto. Father and son have also died in the same house after drinking spurious liquor. After the death of more than two dozen persons due to spurious liquor.
