Despite all efforts to protect against the coronavirus, its cases are not taking a name to stop globally. The number of people infected by this has crossed 89 lakhs and in some countries, it is feared that more than one crore people will be infected with corona soon. Looking at the daily data globally, we find that it is continuously increasing in many countries.

Jans Hopkins University figures show that 1,60,000 new cases of corona have occurred globally on June 21. Most of them are from countries like America, Brazil, Russia, and India. The number of new cases is increasing in some countries where cases have come down considerably. These countries are increasing the risk of the second wave of corona infection.

New cases of corona infection have increased considerably compared to the previous month. In February and March, where these cases were negligible, in April a tremendous increase was recorded. It remained slightly stable in May, but in June, a tremendous increase has been registered in the daily number of new cases globally. On May 20, for the first time, cases of daily infection crossed the one lakh mark. Since then, there is a continuous increase in it. On June 15, 1,21,800 cases of corona were reported in a day. Last June, less than one lakh cases were reported. However, since then this figure has increased continuously. On 17 and 19 June, there were 1,76,000 cases, the highest ever.
